restore opera mini on ZTE C261 and HAIER C700

After fixed ZTE C261 factory test mode (FTM) on the LCD, automated phone can not be in use. that mean opera mini may occurs on it. you may use easycdma softwares that trial and buy do so. or you may use freeware software like QPST - RF NV manager is used for transfer data to system rom on ZTE C261. you can do it your self for free here.

following solution:

Install EasyCDMA

1. Easy Install CDMA v1.96 input registers (or other version)

2. CDMA Easy Open v1.96> Port Configuration File> Refresh> OK

3. Connect to select phone> OK wait until unreadable files on the phone all

4. Drag and drop to open EasyCDMA explore and open in the extract Haier C700 - ZTE C261 System. then copy each file from extract the results into the existing phone system menu in EasyCDMA. create your own folders if there are files / folders are missing. because in EasyCDMA system that can not be copied from the other, turn off the phone and on again.

Opera Mini is usually normal again

1. Install QPST

2. Open QPST > software download > restore > browse file ZTE C261.qcn > start > finished

When the phone is not detected portcom

open QPST program>> qpst configuration>> ports>> add new port>> adjust the phone port with those in the device manager.

Go check the "Show Serial and USB / QC Diagnostics port only" select com fit in the device manager, then check again "Show Serial and USB / QC Diagnostics port only" and OK and exit. Open the battery and insert it again, Try to turn on the phone usually back to normal again

smart modem zte c261 at top speed

smart modem ZTE C261 and C700 Haier is a new product from smart-telecom which was introduced in 2009. after you see my previous review here, now I will discuss on the smart modem speed test. weak signal problems are common. then I will provide a solution by adding a coil of copper wire in the usb cable.

after a while I wore the C261. it depends on connection speed usb cable. when the usb cable C261, error, or there are wires that are not connected then the speed of C261 decreased. I have tried with some usb cable, usb cable can only be made ​​stable. but if you buy a good usb cable (expensive), then the cable will be durable in use.

solution to speed the addition of the ZTE C261 is usually by adding software such as cfospeed, dns server, or by tweaking firefox / internet explorer. or by adding addon.

but in fact make the weight performance of the Internet browser itself. so the solution should not add anything. enough from the system default and if you like to download using IDM as an addon. because idm will break the connection to 16.

actual average speed for the smart modem ZTE C261 15-20 kbps, because working at 153 Kbps, which means it is the division of 8 Kbps connection. so if your modem speed is only 153 Kbps, the average speed rating is 153:8 = 20 kbps (this is supported by a strong signal). if your modem smart signal is weak then the speed will be reduced from 20 kbps.

for ZTE C261 the sound is loud and no bass just flat.

batery
for ZTE C261 batteries can wear nokia BL-5C batteries. ZTE C261 feels more heat if used for long. Haier C700 is cooler.

ZTE C261 supports microcd, I tried installing with 4gb size and runs smoothly (sandisk 4gb SDHC).

Cara instalasi USB driver dan modem




1. Salin MAC driver dari CD ke MAC sistem. Klik dua kali “ZTE Data card Driver Installer”

2. Click continue



3. Pilih Macintosh HD dan klik Continue


4 Klik Install




5 Masukan informasi nama pengguna dan kata kunci dari Mac anda kemudian klik OK. Driver akan diinstal. Jika sukses terinstall akan muncul gambar dibawah ini.








6 . Sekarang hubungkan ZTE C261 dengan sistem MAC. Masuk ke “ System preference” dan klik dua kali pada “Network”

7. Sistem MAC akan mengenali driver seperti gambar di atas. Klik OK



8. Pilih CDMA USB Modem seperti gambar di atas, Klik pada “Advance”


9. Pada Vendor = Other and pada Model=CDMA USB modem seperti gambar di atas lalu klik OK



10. Klik pada Apply, lalu ketik Telephone Number = #777, Account Name = smart, Password = smart, lalu klik “Connect” untuk tersambung pada jaringan internet


11. Gambar di atas menunjukkan Modem tersambung pada jaringan internet, dan anda siap untuk menjelajahi internet.
